About
I coach passionately, applying agile principles to build confidence in individuals, empower teams, and generate a competitive advantage. With over 30 years of leadership experience as an engineer, director, CIO, COO, and president, I can relate to the challenges you face. I am a Neuroscience Certified Brain Based Coach from the Neuroleadership Institute and a 4 Stages of Psychological Safety Certified Trainer and Coach from Leader Factor. I use these approaches in my workshops and to actively coach leaders to develop a growth-mindset. In 2011, I was nominated by the Denver Business Journal as the CIO of the year in the Non-Profit Sector. In 2015, I was also voted one of the top 3 Businesswomen of the Year in Denver. I hold a doctorate degree in Management and Organizational Development from Colorado Technical University (doctoral dissertation focuses on the Productivity of Remote Teams). I am an active member of the Generation Schools Network (GSN) Board of Directors. GSN is a non-profit organization that focuses on support and development for Social and Emotional Learning in Colorado K-12 schools. I live in Golden Colorado with my spouse and our playful German Shepherd. When I'm not doing leadership coaching and workshops, you can find me in the mountains running, biking, golfing, skiing, and playing with wood building acoustic handmade guitars (check out K2 Guitars).
