The Scrum Alliance Licensed Training Provider (LTP) program recognizes organizations that are authorized by Scrum Alliance to deliver and promote Scrum Alliance training—whether through instructor-led courses, on-demand formats, or both. As an LTP, your organization is recognized by the world’s leading authority in scrum and agile professional credentialing. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Does my business qualify?

To ensure a high-quality learner experience and uphold the trusted Scrum Alliance brand, LTPs and their trainers must meet the following requirements:
  1. Number 1 iconUse Scrum Alliance-approved and licensed course content for all certification and microcredential offerings.
  2. Number 1 iconAll trainers must complete and pass any necessary requirements related to the certification and/or microcredential courses they intend to teach.
  3. Number 1 iconInstructors must hold an active Scrum Alliance certification corresponding to the course(s) they teach and remain in good standing.
  4. Number 1 iconIf delivering courses that require live instruction, must be able to deliver them in-person and/or virtually.
  1. Number 1 iconAdhere to all Scrum Alliance brand guidelines, policies, and quality standards.
  2. Number 1 iconMaintain a documented customer issue-resolution process to ensure a high-quality learner experience.
  3. Number 1 iconBe a legally registered business entity for a minimum of two years.*
  4. Number 1 iconTrainers must demonstrate relevant agile and scrum experience and complete any required application processes, unless these requirements have already been met through a previous review or approval.

The Licensed Training Provider (LTP) program recognizes businesses authorized to deliver and promote Scrum Alliance training, whether instructor-led and/or on-demand.

LTPs receive exclusive business benefits, including:

  • Ability to list courses in Scrum Alliance Course Search (global marketplace)

  • Exclusive enterprise training referrals and co-marketing opportunities

  • Options to bundle, license, and resell on-demand content

  • Access to services designed to enhance visibility and growth

Whether you're an independent trainer or a large training business, the LTP program offers flexible pathways designed to support your growth and expand your reach to more learners.

Any training company that wishes to offer public Scrum Alliance instructor-led courses and that works with one or more certified Trainers. This includes Trainer-owned companies as well as third-party companies that are currently eligible to participate in the REA program.

Yes, subject to a licensing agreement with Scrum Alliance. For more information, please contact our Chief Revenue Officer, Dean Hanson.

The REA program will be deprecated and all current REAs are invited to apply as LTPs instead. From a practical perspective, nothing much should change.
