Take CAL 2 so you can:
This course will provide you with relevant, applicable knowledge and a professional certification from a globally recognized agile organization. Scrum Alliance certifications are among the most requested in agile job descriptions and will open the door to discussing your qualifications and skill set in job interviews.
The "Skills in the New World of Work" report found that 55% of organizations say they will pay more for candidates with relevant certifications. And 77% of hiring managers ranked the importance of certifications as a 3 or higher on a 1-5 scale. Don't miss this chance to stand out as an agile leader prepared to support your organization's ability to reach its goals and outperform the competition.
Choosing Scrum Alliance means you will earn a certification badge that is recognized by employers and recruiters globally.
Established in 2001, Scrum Alliance provides certifications with substance: Once you earn the badge, the renewal requirements include proof that you've continued to grow your knowledge—by reading books, watching webinars, attending events, etc.
Earn Scrum Education Units with every learning opportunity you complete. SEUs are required for certification renewal every two years. Instead of a one-and-done lifetime certification, you'll have a badge that proves to employers your commitment to continuously growing, evolving, and expanding what you know.
"This course was a goldmine! Loaded with thoughtful, up-to-date information about the latest trends in agile implementation in organizations today."

You must have completed Certified Agile Leader 1 to enroll in and complete CAL 2. What you learn in CAL 1 is an important foundation for the concepts, tactics, and discussion that take place in CAL 2.
When you enroll in CAL 2, your CAL 1 can be active or inactive. It will renew automatically when you earn CAL 2.
CAL 2 courses may be delivered in person or online, depending on the specific course listing by the trainer. Scrum Alliance-certified trainers provide CAL 2 courses. While the Learning Objectives are common to all CAL 2 courses, each training provider offers a unique learning experience, which you can read about in the Course Details sections of the Course Search listings.
Each Scrum Alliance certification you earn is on a two-year renewal cycle, so it will be listed as "inactive" if you don't renew. You can renew it no matter how long it's been inactive.
Scrum Alliance requires renewal to uphold the substance of your certification: Your certification signifies your commitment to growth. That's because we require Scrum Education Units along with a fee to renew your certification. You earn an SEU for every hour of knowledge growth you complete—reading a book or article, watching a webinar, volunteering at an event, or other activities that expand what you know about scrum and agile.
Taking the CAL 2 course will put all the pieces together and leave you with a comprehensive skill set for leading teams and organizations with greater agile capability. While CAL 1 provides an essential foundation, CAL 2 will help you connect the dots between that foundational knowledge and your day-to-day endeavors to drive strategy and surpass goals at your organization.
Earning any new Scrum Alliance certification automatically renews all of your other Scrum Alliance certifications, whether they're currently active or inactive.
