Title: Engineering Director, Member of the Board

Keith Willett is currently the Engineering Director and Member of the Board for Cisco in Ecublens, Switzerland. He is responsible for wireless controller products in the Cisco portfolio. He also is a Member of the Board of Directors for Cisco Systems Sarl International where he works with local universities, tax authorities and government ensuring Cisco's contributions to the Swiss economy.

Prior to Keith's position at Cisco, Keith held several positions within Honeywell with progressively increasing responsibilities. He was the Global Systems Engineering Director responsible for leading system architectures and creating universal platforms across ACS; a $15B portfolio representing 49 businesses in Honeywell. Keith, in parallel held the position of Global Technical Director for ACT in Honeywell where he was responsible for IP ownership, developing process, and building product strategy for the security brands of Honeywell.

Before the GSAD & GTD positions, Keith lead the Systems and Architecture Center of Excellence, for 9 of Honeywell's businesses, where he played a key role in driving the technical vision of the businesses to move from silo-ed engineering efforts to consolidation of technical teams that work in an Agile environment developing modular products for use across the Honeywell portfolio. He worked to educate the business on SaaS, driving cultural changes utilizing Service Oriented Architecture to deliver value to the customers and migrating the portfolio to be positioned for the IoT.  

Within Honeywell Keith started as Vice President of Engineering for Novar - Honeywell in Independence Ohio. Keith was responsible for the multi-national hardware, software and systems engineering teams that develop energy management solutions for the big box, centrally managed, retail market. Keith has successfully transitioned the development team from waterfall to a Scaled Agile Framework, which is now delivering product at a more predictable rate.

Prior to Novar, Keith was responsible for the execution of software programs for American Science and Engineering, as well as, the strategic planning of the software organization. He developed a comprehensive 5 year roadmap for spanning the 4 product lines that aligned with anticipated customer expectations and delivered product bookings of $8MM of software, in an industry that was opposed to software as a sellable product. Keith utilized Project Management and SCRUM practices to reduce the overall project budget overruns from 140% down to 5%.

Keith worked at SeaChange International as a Program Manager and an Engineering Manager. He moved the engineering organization successfully through their first process initiative with implementation of TL-9000 with zero non-conformances. Keith contributed to laying the infrastructure for transitioning programs from a traditional development model over to an agile model. During his SeaChange tenure Keith was given the opportunity to open a development center in the Philippines, establish the development process of the remote location, hire and manage all engineering staff.
