Seth Malgieri

I am an Agilist who believes in the power of collaboration; combining diverse minds, backgrounds and experiences to build a better mousetrap.  Despite conventional wisdom, I contend that in certain circumstances 1+1 can equal 3.

An Agile Coach and Scrum Master since 2008, I have witnessed the good, bad, and "not-so-pretty" of product development processes. "Agile is about building relationships, and empowering people to do their best while being intellectually and emotionally invested in their work."  Prior to Aetna/iTriage, I spent time at DaVita Healthcare Partners and Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) building applications to support the healthcare industry. Before the manifestation of my passion for Agile, I worked in traditional project management roles in healthcare IT and wireless communications. I also did a stint as editor and public affairs specialist in the United States Air Force.

"I try to make the workplace fun, after all, more often than not we spend as much time there as we do at home. Why be miserable coming to work every day?" When not working I enjoy the solitude of fishing, and listening to a wide variety of music. I socialize regularly, and rarely turn down a barbecue or cocktail with good friends.
