Luis Colon
About
Luis Eduardo Colon is a Senior Architect, Cloud Technologist, and Agile Evangelist, and currently serves as a Senior Developer Advocate in the Cloud Formation team for Amazon Web Services. For the past two decades, Luis has worked in leading and introducing Agile practices, implementing Continuous Integration and Delivery processes, implementing mission-critical, highly available web application clusters with open technologies, as well as researching and prototyping technology solutions using public clouds, Big Data analytics, application security, and emerging mobile technologies. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, and a Master of Science in Data Analytics at Southern New Hampshire University. He is a Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster and Scrum Product Owner, a Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist, and an ACM, IEEE, and Agile Alliance member. Luis is an avid book reader, traveler, and a speaker at industry events and participates in local technology group events.
