Current Responsibility includes:
• Cisco Wide Service Owner (GM Responsibility) for Software and Subscriptions Lifecycle Management and Software Fulfillment Business System Services
• Implemented strategy for end-to-end Cisco Monetization Framework supporting in excess of $8 billion of software revenue. Directly responsible for solutions architecture, client engagement, and PMO for cloud and software IT.
• This includes Cisco’s Licensing Framework to support new software business models, channels enablement, and customer-facing support processes and systems.
• Responsible for Cisco’s Subscription Billing Platform used to bill all Annuity Business models including the $1 billion WebEx SaaS business. Solution responsibilities for Provisioning Orchestration, Mediation, Bill, Rating, Sales Compensation, Billing Assurance and Invoice generation.
• Implemented company-wide electronic software distribution framework using best of breed cloud providers, addressing all needs of tax compliance, exports and internal informational security teams. Currently 96% of all software delivered electronically reducing Opex of at least $15 million annually.
• Manage software supply chain backend of Cisco Key Systems that include software licensing, physical software media supply chain, systems software entitlements and documents, software royalty management system and electronic software distribution.
• Involved in M and A activities for Tandberg, Whiptail, Scientific Atlanta, OpenDNS, Acano, SourceFire, among others.
• Change Agent in transforming Operations to Agile Delivery Methodology – involved in several technology shifts, data center strategy, extending the cloud where necessary.
• Managed a global delivery team (U.S., India, China) of over 200 staff in four time zones. Annual financial planning, quarterly planning; monthly close; budget management of up to $40 million annually. Conducted vendor selection via RFP processes, quarterly business reviews with key vendors, roadmap discussions with product vendors.
