I am passionate about Scrum, Agile, and Professional Coaching. I actively engage in the software development and Agile community, constantly gaining insights and knowledge to improve my skills. I have experience working across multiple industries, including, Transport, Gov.UK, Med-tech and Financial services.
My views and experiences are shared on my blog (jackreed.uk). I am interested in the people side of change and passionate about helping teams and organisations find better ways of working (from a mindset perspective and in the practical sense).
Working at the team level, I focus on coaching teams on self-management, whereby leadership is treated more as an attitude. And I encourage teams I work with to strive for continuous improvement by running small, high-value experiments (even when things are going well).
Supporting Product Owners with their accountability to identify maximum product value by enhancing the visualisation of work, technical debt and progress through transparency.
From an organisational perspective, I partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and promote the wider use of an agile-lean approach. Beyond merely adopting Scrum, using systems thinking and modeling to better understand alignment of ways of working with business and system goals.
Collaborating with leadership and management and recognising the crucial roles they play in an organisation, I can support sustainable, systemic improvement by strengthening the practices and structures that underpin any strategic vision.
