Victoria Wiggins

Victoria Wiggins is a Certified Scrum Professional and ScrumMaster with 9 years’ experience in a broad range of software projects and web technologies. In her current role she integrates the Scrum framework with other Agile practices, tailoring these to suit individual teams. In particular; a variety of coaching tools, Behavior Driven Development, Kanban and Lean practices.

Having worked in the past as a full stack developer, business analyst and project manager she brings a strong awareness of complexity, technical risk and solid development practices. She uses this to help Product Owners and teams keep a steady hand on technical work, ensuring that the planning process balances short term objectives and long term strategic value.

As a ScrumMaster and agile coach Victoria has worked with a wide range of teams and individuals to achieve success using Scrum. This has included; small and large teams, those at different stages of agile adoption, who have had bad experiences with poorly implemented agile practices, and both distributed and collocated teams.

Victoria has significant experience in supporting a company at both team and departmental level through change. By empowering teams and advocating transparency she has managed to maintain teams’ focus despite uncertainty, providing stability through her principles and values led approach.

She is an effective facilitator who consistently promotes the value of retrospectives not only as the traditional ceremony for Scrum, but right through to a department of 100+ people. This has led to a regular reflection on how well her current department manages work.

Outside of work she endeavors to keep up-to-date with new Agile and software development practices and is an occasional blogger; running learningtoscrum.com. She’s also involved in a number of meetups across London, and enjoys taking any opportunity to discuss Agile and various approaches to similar problems.
