About
Craig Pearson is an experienced and commercially aware Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall (PRINEC2) project manager from an IT management, big-4 consulting and software development background now focused on specialist consultancy using Agile (Scrum), Continuous Delivery and DevOps approaches to help commercial, high-tech and software/service/mobile-led organisations improve their delivery performance.
Craig is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), as well as a DevOps Institute Certified DevOps Trainer.
Craig's first involvment with Agile, and the Scrum framework, came during 2011 when leading a team to rapidly develop a range of Mobile applications for integrating with the Sage range of accounting solutions. This led to the wider roll out of an Agile/Scrum culture across the global Sage organisation through 2012 and into 2013 as a part of a "world class development" initiative Craig was instrumental in.
DevOps and Continuous Delivery featured heavily in the world class development initiative and led Craig to specialise in thes areas, using Agile and Scrum to deliver DevOps/Continuous Delivery initiatives for William Hill Online, during 2013 and into 2014, and Accenture and HMRC, during 2014 and into 2015, and ING Bank during 2015. Further Agile Coaching roles followed at BAT Plc in 2015, Virgin Money from late 2015 through fall 2016 and Skybet at the end of 2016- always embracing a DevOps and Continuous Delivery mindset Scrum for Digital Continuous Delivery continues to be a key focus for Craig and he has implemented Agile-at-scale (SAFe) at Nordea in the early months of 2017 before working again with Virgin Money on scaling Agile from April 2017 onwards.
