Dieter Bertsch

Dieter Bertsch is living in Munich, Germany. Dieter is an experienced Scrum Coach, Mentor and Trainer with a background in software engineering and insurance business.

He is working for Allianz Deutschland-AG since 1977, at IT since 1982. He has been supporting Lean, Agile and Scrum since 2007 as a trainer and coach and was most recently responsible for the basic Agile training, which he conducted for more than 1,300 colleagues.

Already several years before his retirement (since the beginning of 2022) he started to bring Agile methods to schools in order to promote more motivating, sustainable learning through self-organized teams on a voluntary basis. Dieter has completed a training as an eduScrum trainer, but in his work he also uses other ideas from Lean, XP, Kanban and agile methods that have been configured for use in schools (e.g. Agile Classrooms).
