Jason Vander Vlies

In September of 2008 I transferred to our sister company SoftPro which is owned by Lender Processing Services. SoftPro is the leader in Title & Escrow software and is located in Raleigh, NC. I am leading a new division to build an integration portal for our flag ship product. We are creating a Service Layer between our customers and vendors using Microsoft's WCF technology. This will facilitate customers ordering products and services from vendors. Not only will this save time by eliminating dual keying of information but we will be bringing down the cost of these services for our customers.

Prior to this position I spent 4 years as the Vice President and Director of Business Technology for Fidelity National Financial. I had the responsibility of product owner for a number of products under the FNF Dashboard suite.  These products varied from Web, WinForm, and Windows Services and served both our customers and employees. My focus was to define the offering, service levels, forecasting, and strategic vision for the products.

I was introduced to Scrum through SolutionsIQ in Redmond, WA while working on a project. Since then we have adopted Scrum for our development team and we are in the process of doing the same for our QA team.
