Biplab Roy is a passionate Agile & Lean professional with over 20 years of experience in Organizational transformation, Management Consulting, Strategic Initiatives, Program & Portfolio management, Process management, Gamification, Software Product and Service Development. He has worked for and advised many Global Software Product and Service Companies in Telecom, BFSI, Healthcare, Life sciences and Technology industries.

Biplab truly believes that Agile is not just a methodology or a process prescription, but a Philosophy, a way of working. This philosophy can be used at any setup or any kind of work - be it software product or service development or support work or personal life.

Currently Biplab heads the Agile Practice at Altimetrik. He has previously worked in various functions at Oracle, HCL Technology and IBM. Biplab started his career as a Software development engineer and over the years performed various management and consulting roles in various organizations..

Biplab has an extensive experience in organizational Agility assessment, adoption, transformation, coaching and mentoring. He is passionate about transforming the whole organization into Agile rather than just adopting agile as a practice for product or service development. He works towards taking the organization to be Agile than just doing Agile. In his recent transformation endeavour he is assisting the organization to transform the culture and other non-software functions like HR, finance and marketing etc.

Biplab holds an array of professional certifications like Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Function Point Specialist (CFPS), COSMIC Full FP, General Insurance (INS) from AICPCU and Sun Certified Enterprise Architect etc.
