My early project experience included web development for a non-profit, and an internship with IBM providing data base analysis and configuration. I am both a Project Manager and a Certified Scrum Master, using my education in Information Technology and Web Development to blend traditional Project Management methodologies with Agile best practices. I acted as Scrum Master for the Modernizing Branch Transactions Agile pod, Roles Based Access Management Agile pod, and Great Compatibility (360) National Checking Agile pod at Capital One. At Verizon, as a Project Consultant I worked with Agile teams in translating business and functional requirements into user stories, and structuring back log items. I am also a long time student of Scrum methods and practitioner continuing to grow my knowledge of Agile with a focus in the area of software implementation and quality.
