Nurturing Self-Organising Teams in the Heart of Scrum

Throughout our Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course we emphasise on participants gaining a deep understanding of the principles behind shaping team identity and fostering high efficiency.

Being a ScrumMaster entails more than just orchestrating a couple of meetings. Our Certified ScrumMaster training is dedicated to equipping you with the comprehensive skills required to excel as an exceptional Scrum Master.

Some individuals debate the necessity of a Scrum Master's role, often stemming from a limited perspective confined to administrative tasks like managing Outlook and Jira. Such responsibilities can be undertaken by anyone.

In our view, Scrum Masters are the vanguards of transformative change, serving as catalysts at the forefront of progress. Through our training, we are committed to nurturing this transformative prowess within you. Our focus extends beyond mere certification test success. Our aim is to empower you to return to your team as a dynamic change agent, poised to contribute significant value to your organization. You can confidently make this commitment to your manager on our behalf.

What you gain from the CSM Course:

A fundamental understanding of the values, principles and practices of Lean, Agile and Scrum
Understanding of how to act as ScrumMaster for one or more self-organising teams
Understanding of how to support the collaboration with the Product Owner and the rest of the organisation
Eligibility to take a Certified ScrumMaster evaluation and become a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
14 PDUs from the PMI and 14 Scrum Education Units

Whether you work with software or physical product development our Scrum courses are designed to support you in working smarter – and becoming smarter.

We put a lot of effort into making sure the teaching is being related to the your application of agile principles in their own organisation.

We don’t put a lot of effort into making fancy PowerPoint decks. In fact we don’t use PowerPoint at all.

At the commencement of the training, we gauge the collective knowledge and experiences of the participants, as well as their learning objectives. This forms the foundation for customising the content and structure of the training.

Our approach draws from the principles of 'Training from the Back of the Room' (TBR), enhanced by graphical facilitation. Central to the training is a dynamic Scrum simulation that orchestrates the integration of all acquired knowledge.

To facilitate your engagement, a comprehensive workbook will be furnished at the outset of the training. Following the training, you will receive photographs of the flip charts, accompanied by supplementary materials.

The certification test will be individually administered subsequent to the training.

Who should attend

This training transcends domains, catering to professionals in software and physical product development alike. Whether you are a team member or practicing Scrum Master, a seasoned practitioner or a novice embarking on your agile journey, our Certified ScrumMaster course equips you to work smarter and cultivate enduring intelligence.

Commitment

Training hours are 9:00 to 17:00 CET each day, and this training requires your full attention, as it heavily relies on group work, interaction, and active participation. Therefore, we anticipate that you have cleared your schedule for the entire duration of the training and that you restrict your emailing, calling, and texting activities to the designated breaks.

We anticipate that you will have completed the necessary preparations before the commencement of the training. These preparations typically entail approximately an hour of dedicated time, and the specific details will be outlined in the confirmation email upon your registration.

Great course, great energy, practical examples, excellent facilitation, and even better, no PowerPoint slides.

Great use of graphical learning, interactive, learning by doing, Bent ticks all the boxes of a great teacher. Would recommend to anyone considering a CSM course!

Bent is a great presenter and teacher. He has a lot of knowledge about Scrum processes and the Scrummaster role. He gave a lot of practical examples related to the Scrummaster role and of the Scum process. I also liked the course curricula, structure and layout. Thanks, Bent, for teaching this course!

Gave us good tools for scrum and also gave us a good 3rd party view of the workplace in general.

This was a really great course and the way Bent guided us through the different aspects of the Scrum master role with a practical approach was awesome

I had a great time with Bent, he's a talanted educator. I'm generally not great at keeping my focus when the subject matter isn't technical, but this time it was not an issue at all. The split between excercises and theory was good, the changes kept us focused. Great guy, great course.

The course was great, amazing job from Bent and the content is interactive and engaging. The only comment I would have is that 2 days might be a bit tight if you are completely new in SCRUM. A 3rd day course would have consolidated the the concepts a bit better.

Presents the material with great enthusiasm and attention to detail, tailoring the instruction to the participants’ needs.

This was an excellent course with effective teaching. The instruction was personalized, and I got exactly what I wanted out of it because of that.
