When deciding who I wanted as my instructor, I took the time to research the available instructors and watch videos of them speaking on panels and podcasts. Marcelo stood out to me immediately because of his ability to clearly convey his message and the positive energy he brought to every conversation. I’m happy to say that what I saw online was exactly what I experienced in his class. I couldn’t be more appreciative of Marcelo’s teaching style, his ability to explain the material in a way that made it relatable, and his talent for keeping me engaged throughout a virtual course. What made my experience even more special was that I happened to be the only student in that particular cohort. Marcelo still taught the class with the same energy, attention, and thoroughness as if he had a full classroom. He didn’t rush through or skip material simply because it was just me. In fact, being the only student turned out to be a blessing because I was able to ask questions I may have been hesitant to ask in a larger group. Marcelo generously shared his professional experiences and used examples across a variety of projects to bring the concepts to life and help me understand how Scrum can be applied in real-world situations. I passed my Certified ScrumMaster exam on my first attempt with a score of 100%! The additional resources Marcelo provided, along with his recommended study plan, were truly game changers and helped me feel confident and prepared going into the exam. I’m incredibly grateful that I took the time to research my instructor and chose Marcelo. He absolutely lived up to the impression that made him stand out to me in the first place, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering Certified ScrumMaster training.

Marcelo was a great instructor. Very upbeat and knowledgeable. Taking the class helped me understand Scrum so much better than before. Would highly recommend him as an instructor.

I really appreciated Marcelo's demeanor and history. He is clearly someone with deep Scrum knowledge and it really shows. I also appreciate the group working together to solve Scrum problems - it really shows Scrum's collaborative nature. However, I noticed something off with the connective tissue and module flow. For example, we discussed Team Swarming without mentioning "this is how a team should operate". The Definition of Done discussion was spread out over the DoD sections but also Backlog Refinement and Technical Debt. I noticed a contradiction between Definition of Dones being Story specific and discussing Definitions of Done at Sprint Review. I think refining that tissue would be a great boon. I also would have liked a bit more time to review the material on my own before the course.

Training was very helpful and well delivered. I loved the interactive experience and the resources offered were great.

I enjoyed the course. I would recommend having the members do more pre-work prior to the course as it was fast paced and required you to already have an understanding of the material to impactful in the breakout sessions.

Great instructor - very enthusiastic!

I recently completed the Scrum Master Bootcamp with Professor Trainer Marcelo Lopez, and it was an outstanding experience. Marcelo has an exceptional ability to explain Agile and Scrum concepts in a way that is both clear and engaging. He breaks down complex topics into practical, easy-to-understand components, making it simple to grasp not just the theory but also the real-world application. His teaching style is dynamic, structured, and highly interactive, which kept the sessions engaging from start to finish. What I appreciated most was his ability to connect Scrum principles to practical scenarios, helping us understand how to apply them effectively within teams and organizations. He created a supportive learning environment where questions were encouraged, discussions were meaningful, and learning felt collaborative. This bootcamp significantly strengthened my understanding of the Scrum framework and the role of a Scrum Master. I highly recommend this training to anyone looking to deepen their Agile knowledge or prepare for a Scrum Master role. It was truly a fantastic learning experience.
