Scrum Product Owner Course Summary

This two-day Product Owner course provides everything you need to get started as the business point person using Scrum with a team. You may be a product manager, project manager, business analyst or other subject matter expert (SME), but no matter the role, you know you are the voice of the customer – the one specifying what team should build, the vision, roadmap and priorities for the team and deciding on the feature, cost, and quality tradeoffs.

Certified Scrum Product Owner Training, Orange county, Scott Dunn, Rocket Nine Solutions

There are many tools, techniques and practices that can help a Product Owner perform their role effectively and successfully. This is one of the few CSPO workshops that will explore many of these tools and practices through hands on simulations while keeping Agile’s values and principles in the spotlight!

Building a quality product, with the right features, on the right platform with an engaging user experience is the difference between building a product that delights customers and satisfies needs or building something that has all the bells and whistles, yet fails in the marketplace.

As one of the largest and fastest-growing agile frameworks, Scrum is a simple, yet powerful way to manage product requirements, elevate quality, and accelerate project delivery. One of the key roles in Scrum is that of Product Owner, the person tasked with setting and communicating the product vision, the one who ultimately determines what product experience is delivered.

The Rocket Nine Solutions Certified Scrum Product Owner course with Bob Sarni is a two-day, hands-on workshop, filled with practical advice and time-tested techniques designed to give students the foundation they need to succeed using Scrum. The CSPO course offers a detailed examination of the Scrum project lifecycle and the product owner role, going beyond the basic definitions to focus on how to achieve success as a product owner with Scrum.Course delivery is varied for optimal learning, with activities ranging from case study analyses and in-depth lectures, to hands-on exercises and interactive games. Each person will leave this course empowered with practical, applicable advice and skills they can immediately apply once they return to the office.

Course Benefits

  • Upon completion of the course, students are eligible for the following benefits: A two-year membership with the Scrum Alliance and the CSPO designation
  • Can earn PDUs (one PDU per contact hour with the Project Management Institute)
  • Satisfy 14 of the 21 required training contact hours for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) as well as a strong foundation for the associated certifying exam
