About
Rob Hicks graduated Summa Cum Laude from The George Washington University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2008. He has worked in Agile development since 2007, first beginning in a startup he cofounded his senior year called Kicknote.com, then moving to Wireless Generation (now Amplify), then to Appnexus, and finally to his current position at Squarespace. His responsibilities include leveraging his Agile expertise and project management experience to support both long-term cross-functional engineering teams and project-specific teams in any way possible. His overarching goals with all teams and projects are to help engineers function as efficiently as possible, to foster transparency and communication, to deliver quality results on time, and to create an environment that helps everyone enjoy their jobs. Rob currently runs a team of two additional Technical Program Managers within the Server Engineering division of Squarespace. He completed his MBA at Fordham University in May 2016, graduating in the top 5% of his class.
