I have started to study and apply Agile, especially Scrum since 2010, when our customer requests to run the software project with that methodology. Time by time, we have seen the fact that the projects have been more successfully with improving delivery KPIs, customers' satisfaction as well as team members' performance. What we like most is that we can learn a lot aftert so such short time of one Sprint (normally 2 weeks), particularly after each Sprint Retrospective meeting with the defined action items which can help us realize what need to be avoided and improved for next. In addition, I myself have seen that I can apply the Agile principles as well as Scrum rules into our daily life, out of the work, which impress me much. Because, I can learn from the mistakes and importantly avoid the same mistakes, which I always keep in my mind until now as Kaizen mindset: Continous Improvement.
Thanks to applying practically Agile/Scrum into our real projects, I can help other teams, other projects in our company to apply with the same best practices in order to make the projects on time, on schedule and on quality. We have together built one community in FPT software, where we can have the channel to discuss, share and learn Scrum more deeply.
I frequently join the Scrum events in Vietnam such as Agile Vietnam Tour in 2014 and coming 2015 as one of speakers who contribute my studying or practical experiences to our members.
At last, I am interested in joining the training coures in FPT University, where I can teach / train the students who start to learn Scrum and apply into their studying method in order to be ready for future IT works.
