Marc Wittenberg - I started to practice scrum in 2008 when I joined Standard and Poors as a Business Analyst. Prior to that I was a Business Analyst for Lehman Brothers working in a strictly waterfall environment and was eventually let go soon after bankruptcy. Over the past 6 years i have held several roles within McGraw-Hilland in one way shape or form they all have a connection to scrum. My first introduction to scrum was as a scrum master, followed by coaching teams and providing in house training sessions on scrum and agile.

In my current role I am a Scrum Master for a development team. Along with my Scrum Master responcibilities, I'm also coaching a team on implementing scrum into their project. In 2010 I moved into Vendor Management and part of my day to day responsibilities was to ensure our India outsourcing vendors were trained in scrum. Once I provided training I would monitor the teams to provide guidance on scrum and help with the various scrum ceremonies.
