Miguel Pragier

    I am brazilian, from Sao Paulo city and have been programming computers there are more than fifteen years. 
    Started on profession as computer operator in a big lawyer company. Later on, I was dividing my activities between give I.T. classes and automate small offices. 
    In 998, I had started to work with large database systems and so with Stored Procedures development. Since when, I consider "Database design and programming" my strongest professional feature. Despite I worked alone on the most of the projects, I really like to work on "Internal automation", where I can learn the daily department processes, design and develop solutions close to their final consumers, reducing production costs and improving the general quality of the common routines. 
    The majority of my experiences was concentrated in the services hestle. But I did jobs to industry and several to commerce. 
    I am a enthusiast of new technologies, but I use to choose those mature and well-know ones. For me is important to use the right tool for the task. 
    I am experienced in C, C#, PHP and several SQL dialects. My knowledge is based on research and experience interchange with other technology professionals. 
    I have a big private library, with more than five hundred technical books. This collection increases each time I get a new job with new technology directives. 
    In the year of 2008, already married and with one son, I did my graduation in Information Technology Management, at University of Guarulhos. 
    My hobbies are family trips, amateur woodworking, cooking and e much reading. 
    And obviously, I am not so good to write about myself.
