I love leading teams to their full potential, trying to get the best out of everyone involved and enhancing the way teams work by adopting useful processes and communicating client's needs openly. This allows achieving consensus and gaining buy-in thanks to team-driven decisions.

I dig agile methodologies. Specifically Scrum, as it framework encourages an environment ready for continuous improvement in teams and all project related activities. Introducing and coaching teams into using Scrum and experiencing success makes me feel fulfilled.

I’m starting to use Kanban for software maintenance projects. Depicting the whole process in the board and making adjustments to increase the team’s throughput has been very enlightening for me.

I also enjoy fixed price projects. Managing teams with a fixed deadline, feature set and budget while trying to get the best yield for the company and the best value for the client (paying attention to any changes) is a challenge I savor

I have over eight years of experience in the Software development industry, seven years and counting in project management and leadership roles. My professional career began as a QC Analyst on an auditing tool project, later I wrote its documentation and after that I was encouraged to manage a project for the same client.

I'm an avid reader, a Taekwondo 1st Dan (black belt), and I deeply enjoy cycling and running.
