I am Laure Pain, Agile Coach and from time to time Scrum Master. At time I am writing this bio, I am Tribe Scrum Master for a 100 people group at Amadeus (10 Scrum teams, 4 geographical sites). I have been a professional in the software development industry since 1996. Since 2010, I have been teaching, coaching and facilitating agile transformations at Amadeus. It includes encouraging Scrum , Kanban, LeSS frameworks. Management 3.0, intrinsic motivation, Beyond Budgeting principles, enterprise agility are other topics I am curious about. Just now I am looking at Nexus and SaFe, especially the release planning techniques. I contributed to the Agile Transformation Program and took from time to time some operational roles as Scrum Master or Project Manager working with various number of Agile Teams. My first taste of Agile was in 2008, as Scrum Master of a 10 people team for our R&D Telecommunication division at H.P. For 2 years I have been discovering Agile through Scrum practice, learning upon each issue, each resistance, each situation that was questioning our way of working. During that period I have taken various roles: Release Manager and Product Owner. Convinced that agile values and framework was the way to cope with the difficulties and uncertainties inherent to software development, I have read many books, articles, attended webinars, training sessions and agile community events. Hired as Agile coach at Amadeus in 2010, and certified Scrum Professional in 2011, I have enjoyed training and coaching teams of various sizes, business areas, countries. Each coaching period is a new experience as constraints, cultures, expectations and ways to go for more agility are various.
