John Mason

John Mason, a Senior Consultant for Microsoft’s Premier Developer Practice, is an award-winning Microsoft veteran of over fifteen years.  He is an IASA CITA-P, Board Certified Software Architect and holds numerous industry-recognized certifications (many international) in areas such as Software Development, Information Security, Privacy, SCRUM, and ITIL.  He recently added TOGAF 9 Level 2 Certification to his list of accolades.  During his tenure at Microsoft, Mr. Mason has handled numerous high-profile, mission-critical software development “situations” with our large enterprise customers.  Mr. Mason has provided architectural and development guidance across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience of software development projects and workstreams ranging from Windows Client-Based Solutions to distributed Service Oriented Applications (SOA) including complex web farms running high-performance “Web 2.0” and Cloud-based applications.  He has a consistent track record of successful engagements in challenging, sometimes extremely volatile customer-facing environments and endeavors to leave every customer in a better state than before he arrived.
