Started using Scrum in 2005 at Y! where I ported retrospective driven agile processes across multiple groups in Y! culminating as PMO Director for Open Social Platforms in '08, which was 8 dev teams building one thing, all scrum based. Before that I spent many years experiencing why traditional top-down project management methods fail both domestically and abroad. To me, agile was the first honest approach to project management that accepted the reality of how real projects unfold. Change will happen. Change is good. Make it a strength, not a weakness.
