David Aigner is an engineering and technology program management leader with over 20 years of experience driving large-scale, enterprise technology initiatives, primarily within the financial services industry. He specializes in engineering management, Agile delivery at scale, and the leadership of complex technology programs that span multiple teams, platforms, and stakeholders.
Throughout his career, David has led enterprise and strategic technology programs, overseeing end-to-end delivery across portfolio, program, and release planning. His expertise includes engineering execution, Agile Release Train (ART) leadership, Lean Agile Framework, release and deployment strategy, and continuous improvement of delivery practices. He has played a key role in establishing and evolving program and delivery frameworks, strengthening governance, and aligning technology execution with business outcomes.
David has extensive hands-on experience in Agile environments, including serving as a Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. As an RTE and engineering leader, he has coordinated cross-team dependencies, facilitated PI planning and inspect-and-adapt events, managed risks and impediments at scale, and ensured predictable, high-quality delivery across multiple teams. As a Product Owner, he partnered closely with business and engineering stakeholders to define vision, secure sponsorship, and prioritize epics and features to maximize value. As a Scrum Master, he focused on execution excellence, team health, and coaching teams and adjacent organizations in Agile and Scrum practices.
Known for his ability to navigate complex technical and organizational challenges, David combines analytical insight with strong facilitation and communication skills to resolve cross-functional issues and drive alignment.
