Chevane Woodland - I grew up in the Silicon Valley, I suppose it was destiny that I would end up with a career in the IT industry. I have a B.S degree in Political Science from San Jose State University.  I have lived in the Denver, Colorado area for over 20 years. It took me a few years to find a career path that I enjoyed.  I was fortunate to stumble across a small software company that was more interested in hiring the right personality over having a specific skill set.  Since then, I have held a variety of positions in the IT arena for the past 19 years.  In my personal life, I enjoy traveling to tropical locations, Hawaii and Mexico's Riveria Maya are my favorites.  While lounging on the beach, I take advantage of the down time to catch up on my reading list....real books, no tablets. I also enjoy going back home to California to visit my family at both ends of the state.  At home, I love to entertain so I have an excuse to experiment with new recipes.  Fortunately, my friends are willing guinea pigs. I enjoy attending Agile and Scrum events and trainings to further my education and hear what's new in the community.

Groomed and prioritized the team's backlog through collaboration with the business analyst and product owners. Coached department management on Agile and Scrum best practices.

Honored varying and shifting business priorities by coordinating and maintaining an ongoing product backlog with input from multiple, competing stake holders. Demonstrated business value by planning upcoming Sprint schedules and release schedules while coordinating release cycles with other teams and operational departments. Improved management’s and team members’ visibility into team performance by establishing and maintaining key metrics.
