Chevane Woodland - I grew up in the Silicon Valley, I suppose it was destiny that I would end up with a career in the IT industry. I have a B.S degree in Political Science from San Jose State University. I have lived in the Denver, Colorado area for over 20 years. It took me a few years to find a career path that I enjoyed. I was fortunate to stumble across a small software company that was more interested in hiring the right personality over having a specific skill set. Since then, I have held a variety of positions in the IT arena for the past 19 years. In my personal life, I enjoy traveling to tropical locations, Hawaii and Mexico's Riveria Maya are my favorites. While lounging on the beach, I take advantage of the down time to catch up on my reading list....real books, no tablets. I also enjoy going back home to California to visit my family at both ends of the state. At home, I love to entertain so I have an excuse to experiment with new recipes. Fortunately, my friends are willing guinea pigs. I enjoy attending Agile and Scrum events and trainings to further my education and hear what's new in the community.
