Bruce Nix jrejoined Lokion in January 2014 after a brief adventure elsewhere. He brings more than a decade of experience in expert systems analysis, solutions design, and project management.
Bruce is a Microsoft Certified Technical Professional (MCTS) and has deep experience in QA testing, use case development, technical operations management, business analysis, schedule management, and process reengineering.
Agile methodologies are one of Bruce’s strong suits: He’s a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and has years of daily experience in Agile project management methodologies. He helped found the Memphis Agile Practitioners Group, and gives presentations on Agile practices to anyone that is willing to listen to his ramblings.
Bruce was a pioneer and mentor in agile and scrum methodologies at previous fortune 500 employers while here at Lokion, Bruce managed a project to redesign a Fortune 500 company’s ecommerce platform, resulting in a 32% increase in sales within a month of implementation. He’s also managed multiple projects for large clients involving user experience, web and mobile design, and process improvement.
Bruce is an Army veteran and holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Technology from Regis University in Denver. He also contributed reviewer feedback for Stephen Denning’s book The Leader's Guide to Radical Management: Reinventing the Workplace for the 21st Century.
