Anton Barkov
About
Anton Barkov is an experienced Scrum master, Agile practitioner, evangelist and coach who holds several supporting certificates (CSM, PSM 1, CSPO, ICP-ATF). He participates actively in the local Agile community activities and often contributes as a speaker and facilitator.
I started my career in IT in 1999 as a software developer, then was working in the analyst role for several years, then moved to a project/engineering manager role.
Working with several teams in 2013, I realized the value of Agile approaches and focused on Agile as a philosophy and working method. I started to work as a Scrum master and agile coach for my teams and gradually converted all my teams to Scrum.
Since then I've been working as a Scrum Master, often combining the role with some responsibilities of a conventional manager and/or an Agile Coach supporting the Agile Journey on the organizational level. I brought Agile practices to each team I have been working in recent years and this helped companies to deliver more value to the customer faster and team members to enjoy increased job satisfaction and personal productivity.
