This 2-day course helps you learn Scrum in depth, from theory to practice.

On the day one, we start from the Scrum foundation, including its history, self-managing as key element, and how empirical process control applies for complex projects. Then, we go over the Scrum framework in brief. Lack of transparency and how it leads to legacy software is the topic after that. We then introduce the concept - Definition of Done. Gradually, we move to more practical topics about meetings in the Scrum framework, including their purposes and how to make them effective. We end the day one with 59-min Scrum simulation.

On the day two, in the morning, we talk about Product Owner, Product backlog and release planning done in the form of continuous backlog grooming. In the afternoon, we shall explore Scrum Master role and the team role in details, and clarify lots of misconceptions there. Good engineering practices are essential for quality and productivity, thus, we will shortly cover it as well, even though it's not inherent part of Scrum framework. Scrum implementation happens in the context of Organization, which is the next topic. In the end of the course, if Scaling Scrum in multiple-team environment is of the interest to most of you, we shall talk about the main scaling techniques and share trainer's experience in this area.
