I began with Agile as a Tech Lead (Team Member) in February 2011. I received my CSM certification in July of the same year and attended the Atlanta Scrum Gathering in May of 2012. When my first Agile project wrapped up I helped share Agile best practices with several project teams until I became a full time Scrum Master in June of 2012. I have served as a Scrum Master / Agile Coach for various teams since then.

Walmart ISD, Scrum Master / SoS Master
May 2012 - December 2013, Rogers, Arkansas, US
I became the first "full-time" Scrum Master for my area (wasn't also developing or had other roles) and led the transition from one Scrum team to an all-Agile area with 7-11 teams. I was Scrum Master until May of 2013, at which point I became the "Scrum of Scrums" Master for all of the teams. I coached the domain on Agile practices (primarily via the Scrum Masters) and drove alignment of dependencies and risks across the domain. I also began assisting other areas in the company with their Agile adoption.

During this time I served primarily on one project, my first attempt at Agile. Towards the end of this time, I also assisted with other projects to help them understand Agile and to begin working in a more Agile way.
