Moonie Lantion
My real name is Linde Michael Lantion but everyone knows me as Moonie. I was born in Manila, Philippines but moved to Los Angeles, CA when I was 2 years old and have lived here since. I attended Cal State University Northridge where I received a B.S. in Mathematics but it was the time in between classes where I was messing around in our computer labs where I got into this thing called the internet.
I learned how to build my own websites and navigate through the school's linux environment which eventually led me into a career as a front end developer at an online banking start up. My career evolved from front end development to user interface design to information architecture and to product management. It was through all of these disciplines where I learned the hardships of waterfall software development.
In 2009, I was introduced to Agile and Scrum and I haven't looked back to waterfall since.
Aside from being an agilist, I follow the whole paleo diet thing and learned how to cook so that my meals fit within paleo guidelines. I do yoga with occasional kettlebell workouts. I'm also a vinyl hip-hop d.j. when I'm not being a father and husband.
