Biography

Jesse Thompson

My career in IT Project Management spans more than a decade of direct experience with software development, government, insurance, finance, and marketing industries. I thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to support changing business priorities. Being a natural leader that fosters team creativity and knowledge sharing, I cultivate strong teams that produce quality work. My proficiency with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies, as well as a thorough understanding of the SDLC, provide a strong technical foundation for planning, collaboration, and problem solving.

Some Characteristics…
I look to optimize efficiency whenever possible.
I believe that meetings should achieve a purpose and should never be boring.
I make use remote sharing tools to virtually bring the right resources together.
I am a leader, not a task master.
I am competent, confident, and comfortable when speaking to a large audience.
I may not be a mind reader, but I understand body language, context clues, micro-expressions, and even sarcasm.
I am a lifetime learner – I participate, volunteer, listen actively, and read a lot.
