Jie Gao

Jie is a seasoned software engineer with more than six years in IT industry with agile methodology, coding, analysing, troubeshooting, deploying and delivering large-scaled distributed systems.

Before coming to UK, He was a Senior Software Engineer in Dextrys Co., Ltd and engaged in many large-scaled enterprise application development projects with complicated business requirements, such as Chartis Brazil Insurance System, Hanover Insurance system for Hanover, Mayban Fortis Insurance System, EA Back Office System for Electric Arts Inc., Non-Domestic Management System for Hong Kong Housing Authority,etc.

Since last 2 years, He play a role as a KTP Associate and successfully completed a UK national funded research project for research partners: University of Westminster and Magus Research Limited. In this 2 years project, he worked with Magus Research Ltd, an agile enterprise, to incorporate state-of-the-art semantic technologies into the ActiveStandards web platform in order to deliver advanced capabilities for finding and classifying content on the web effeciently.

Currently, he continues to work with academic supervisor, CEO, CTO, product owners, tech leads and teams to review product roadmaps, system architecture and technical research in order to build innovative semantic product on ActiveStandards platform.
