Biography

In my job experiences thus far, I have made it a practice to continuously think outside of my role as a software developer/systems consultant and consider all the factors that contribute toa successful project. By allowing myself to do this, I have also found a genuine interest and inherent ability for project management. I have strong problem‐solving, consulting, organizational and communication skills, in addition to my software development capabilities.

My current aim is to build my nation through the career path that I have chosen. I have a keeneye for detail and I am extremely passionate about project management, software development and continuous improvement. I am a dedicated, driven individual who learns quickly and lives for challenges.

Responsibilities include; Writing proposals, creating project plans, conducting requirements gathering, complying with development methodologies to produce solutions for clients, conducting user acceptance testing, bug fixing and deployment, client and project management.

Involved in a start-up company currently working on building a GPS data collection application with funding received from a competition hosted by the Ministry of Planning and Sustainable Development, Trinidad.

Medullan practiced Agile Software Development. I worked on several projects where I was allowed to experience different agile/scrum roles. The areas that I have been exposed to during this time are: DotNetNuke CMS, Kentico CMS, Scrum, Agile, Test Driven Development, NUnit, Grails, Groovy, SpringSource, Android, SQL Server and Visual Studio. The non-technical aspects that I have gained experience in are as follows: Time management, team management, risk mitigation, client interaction, communication, consulting, documenting, quality and acceptance testing, coordinating scrums, reviews and plannings meetings.
