Jens Coldewey is an Agile coach and managing director with improuv GmbH, Munich, Germany, specializied in agile development since 1998. His current interest is both in training and organizational transformation, working with Senior Executives, managers, and board members to explore the potential of Agile approaches and the options to introduce them. Among others he's serving with the Supporting Agile Adoption workgroup of the Agile Alliance, exploring connections to other communities, such as the Beyond Budgeting community.
To Jens Agile is both a mindset to improve our world of work and a management approach to make organizations fit for the challenges of an ever increasing speed and necessetiy of change. We need to rethink how organizations work and apply and extend both the knowledge we collected in our own communities and in other areas of expertise.
Jens considers Scrum an excellent and fast way to deploy Agile thinking on team level. Being also an Accredited Kanban Trainer and certified Kanban Coaching Professional, he tries to utilize approaches and tools from all areas of Agile thinking to help transforming organizations.
