About
My name is Allan McPike and I am a highly motivated, highly skilled Coach with over 20 years of experience in working with Agile Teams. I have been working as an Agile Transformation Coach for the last 6 years spanning all levels of the business from executive leadership to teams and individuals.
I started my journey with Scrum as a Software Tester before moving into a Scrum Master role helping our teams experiment and deliver value to our customers on a regular basis. Since then I have worked across multiple industries as a Scrum Master and Agile Consultant before landing at a large banking client where I have helped them on many Agile Transformations as a coach.
I have recently gained my Certified Scrum Alliance Trainer and Certified Team Coach certifications which have been massive milestones for me.
A few things I'm passionate about:
- Helping people find their potential in Agility- I have mentored many people to become great Scrum Masters and Product Owners with some progressing into a Coaching role.
- Building strong relationships - Partnering with people of all levels to support and guide them towards their goals. People are the key part of any businesses success so making sure that they are supported is a key driver for me.
- Authenticity - As a coach, you will always find me the same way. Being trust worthy and non judgemental is key for me to make people feel at ease so that we can tackle the most difficult of problems and find great solutions
Working with people to bring about noticable change through coaching, teaching , training and mentoring is where I get the most excitement. Taking people on a journey and seeing them excel and improve their ways of working is what brings me happiness at work.
