Valerio Zanini is a CST (Certified Scrum Trainer) and a CPIT (Certified Product Innovation Trainer). He blends a background in digital product management with hands-on experience working with agile teams building new products. He also works with teams from startups to Fortune 100 organizations to help implement Scrum and improve their product development practices. Some of the organizations he has worked with include Capital One, Walgreens, McKesson, G4S, Silicon Valley Bank, GAF, Dassault Systemes, and Wesco. He trained with Jeff Sutherland (co-creator of Scrum). He teaches Agile, Scrum, and Product Management courses to hundreds of students every year around the world.

Prior experience:
Before becoming a Scrum trainer and coach, he led product and technology teams in a variety of industries (banking, entertainment, telecom, cyber). Most recently, he was a Director of Product Development at Capital One, a top-10 bank in the US and leader in digital banking. At Capital One he launched several new products and transformed the customer experience in the retail branches. He started, grew, and scaled several Agile development teams, acting as Product Owner or as Scrum Master for these teams.
Before Capital One he co-founded Goozex.com, the leading marketplace for used video game trading in North America and Europe. At Goozex, he was working with the development team running 1-month Sprints and prioritizing the backlog with direct feedback from the end-users of the platform. Goozex quickly became the #1 platform in the market for video game trading online.
