Kiran Thakkar

Kiran is an Agile and AI Transformation Leader with 29+ years of IT and enterprise leadership experience, helping organizations scale Agile, SAFe®, AI, and digital transformation in highly regulated and complex environments. I specialize in bridging Lean-Agile execution, AI strategy, and organizational change to build resilient, future-ready enterprises.

As a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®), SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC), and large-scale Agile transformation pioneer, I have coached and led 40+ Agile teams and designed one of the world’s largest FDA-compliant Agile/SAFe programs, supporting 1,200+ practitioners at Siemens Medical Solutions. My work emphasizes Lean-Agile leadership, value streams, ARTs, and governance-driven agility with measurable business outcomes.

I am also a Certified AI-Native Trainer with Scaled Agile and a PMP®, delivering AI-Native Foundations and AI-Native Change Agent programs through public and private enterprise workshops. My training focuses on enterprise AI adoption, generative AI, AI governance, and Agile–AI integration, aligned with SAFe operating models and portfolio flow.

In academia, I serve as an Adjunct Instructor at Penn State University, where I designed and teach the “AI for Leaders” curriculum. The program blends academic rigor with industry use cases, emphasizing applied AI, ethical AI, and AI operating models for senior business and technology leaders.
