About
I help people and teams focus on what matters, work better together, and turn learning into meaningful results.
Through Fovea, I help leaders and teams get clearer about the outcomes they want to create, understand what shapes their results, and build the capability to improve. That means making better decisions, strengthening collaboration, and learning from what happens in practice.
For over a decade, I’ve worked with organizations including Netflix, Microsoft, and ServiceNow. I served as lead Agile coach for Scrum Alliance, guiding its own Agile transformation, and co-created the Certified Team Coaching (CTC) and Certified Agile Leader–K12 (CAL-K12) programs. I also created Agile Classrooms, bringing practical ways of collaborating and learning into K–12 education.
That experience shapes how I teach: connect ideas to real situations, ask useful questions, and help people apply what they learn with judgment.
What’s my class like?
Expect hands-on learning, lively conversation, and room to bring your own challenges. We’ll connect Scrum to real situations: making difficult choices, working through obstacles, and learning whether your efforts are making a difference.
You’ll explore ideas, practice with others, and reflect on how to apply what you learn in your own context. Expect useful tools, thoughtful questions, and some laughter along the way.
My aim is for you to leave ready to help your team focus on what matters, work better together, and create meaningful results.
Outside of work, I’m usually surfing, practicing martial arts, perfecting my drinking chocolate, or playing Uno with my family. House rules apply.
My perspectives on leadership and teamwork have been featured in Forbes Insights, including Management in the Age of Agile.
Bring your questions and a challenge you care about. Let’s expand what’s possible.
