About
Melissa Beaudette
I started my professional career as a technical installation coordinator for Baxa. I was recognized for my analytical skills and a position was created for me in software quality engineering. I began with little to no knoweledge of testing software as a technician to a senior software quality engineer with a certification from the American Software Quality Engineering Board (ASTQB) for Software Quality Engineering (CSQE), a highly regarded certification for the medical device industry, and leading the software testing effort for a Class II Medical Device and an 8 person team.
I found myself wanting to learn more modern practices and joined WWT, Asynchrony Labs (WWTASL) in early 2016 as a Quality Advocate. Here, I have excelled in understanding and applying agile practices as a valued member of a software delivery team. However, my approach to software quality has always skewed towards the business side and for many client projects, I acted more in a business analyst and product owner capacity. When WWTASL created the Product Owner role to coach team and clients, it was a natural fit for me and I have been doing that ever since.
