About
Eric's interest in engineering and leadership started at a young age when he realized that he had a niche for doing things very well with computers. Working on tasks such as fixing viruses on computers to becoming more advanced with programs on a desktop, Eric was able to catch on very quickly and effectively apply the things that he learned during his free time. Eric was always in leadership positions growing up. He was the team's captain in all of the sports that he participated in, and was on the executive board for all other organizations that he was a part of. When software and mobile applications became very popular, a spark of interest was gained after conducting research, reading books, and working on small application projects. Eric is also a selfless person. He has always served and helped others in any way possible at an early age.
Jumping ahead a few years, Eric started off college at Southern Union State Community College, where he played two years on the basketball team and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor's Society. There, he was exposed to some programming classes, and also learned how to deal with all of his teammates to get things done on and off the court. Eric ended up graduating in May of 2013 with an Associates in Science before transferring to the University of South Alabama to pursue a degree in Information Technology. At the University of South Alabama, Eric took the knowledge he learned from the basketball court, and lead development teams on projects in different classes. His team also was selected as the Senior Project of the semester. A picture of the team, and the solution that was created for the Dean of Engineering was placed in the Engineering building for recognition. Eric graduated from the University of South Alabama in December of 2016 with a B.S. in Information Technology.
