James Kesselman

My name is Jim Kesselman, and I have 20+ years of diverse IT business systems analysis, management, and documentation experience, including over 17 years at Altice USA (formerly Cablevision).  I started my career working for two large military contractors on Long Island that manufactured automated test systems for US Navy aircraft.  Both jobs entailed using a combination of technical systems analysis skills coupled with composing operations and support documentation that included a variety of graphics software.  My career shifted to medical applications at NY Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital where I applied my technical analysis and documentation skills is support of Managed Care Enrollment, Dietary, and Scheduling systems.  My present job is with Altice USA, where I have applied my current professional skills in support of telecommunications (TV/Internet, and Phone) products and services.  I presently work with an Operations Engineering team where support aspects are analyzed from the perspective of the customer instead of solely on the systems end.  This is something new and different that I find very interesting since the success of all products is critical from the customer’s view, rather than just from its design.  I work very well with others, being a positive influence and bringing out the best in all as I share my knowledge and teach others while also learning from their backgrounds as well.  I’m a true advocate of establishing and maintaining collaborative team relationships, while adapting well to changes with a positive attitude to achieve success.
