Cristina Teles Cerdeiral

I am a Director of Software Engineering at Nest Wealth, one of Canada's leading digital wealth management platforms. With over 20 years of experience in industry and academia, I combine know-how with hands-on experience in software engineering, project management, development, and process improvement. As a director, I lead and manage teams responsible for the company's product design, development, quality, releasement, and support. I also collaborate with the UNIRIO University Information Systems Research Group, co-advising research projects, publishing in scientific journals and conferences, and keeping updated with software engineering state-of-the-art. My mission is to bring software engineering innovations and best practices to the organization and deliver solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our clients while creating a continuous improvement environment and an inclusive and participative culture. I am passionate about software engineering and people leadership and eager to learn and mentor new skills and technologies.
