Steve Gileno
About
Steve Gileno is software professional who has embraced agile values principles and practices. Steve transitioned from software developer to software manager in the mid-90s while working in research and development at Globalstar L.P., (now known as Globalstar). Working in R&D challenged Steve to develop working software quickly in response to the dynamic nature of R&D and the startup business environment. That challenge began Steve's agile transformation, just as his move into management birthed him as a servant leader. Since then, Steve has empowered individuals and teams and co-created environments for growth and success at various career stops including Intuit, Seagate, Applied Signal Technology, Waverley Software, Pacific Gas and Electric, San Diego Gas and Electric, TAV Networks, Meta, Google, and currently back consulting at PG&E.
Steve achieved both his CSM from Eric Rapin and his CSPO from Jeff Sutherland in 2017. He has been an active participant within several agile meetup groups from San Francisco to San Jose. He feels grateful for his continued opportunities to grow as an agile practitioner and will continue working as an enabler, connector, and problem solver in the industry.
