Jordi Cabezas Montaña

I started working as a Web programmer in December 2000 for IT consulting companies in Barcelona. Normally the methodologies use in those developments were waterfall. After several years coding, I started managing IT projects and teams normally using Waterfall. After some time managing I started looking for more efficient ways to work and ways to improve productivity and customer’s satisfaction.

I read and tried many ways, both frameworks and tools with more or less success depending on the project and team I was working with.

My journey into Agile practices started in 2012. I did read a lot about agile principles and I found it to be a fascinating topic and I wanted to try it. In 2013 I decided to apply Scrum in the IT department I was managing first as part of the Stakeholders. Since that time, I have transitioned to a Product Owner and nowadays I work as Scrum Master and Agile Coach when other teams decide to move to Scrum.

I really enjoy helping other teams and I aspire to coach teams and executive leadership to evolve our enterprise level planning.
