Cecile Auret
About
Cecile started her professional career in 1995. She’s always been involved with software development teams, holding all possible roles except developer. She started in the customer care and billing for the telecommunications industry and worked in participative management environments.
Her focus has always been on understanding the client’s needs and the reasons behind clients’ requirements, making sure teams build the right product. She also worked in a very small company which had established a very strong collaborative relationship with its clients, focusing on direct communication and product demonstration rather than extensive specifications. So when she was trained to the scrum master role in 2009, everything made sense! Since then, after practicing as a scrum master, she started to coach scrum teams including the PO. She also uses different agile techniques to facilitate more effective meetings. She is therefore hoping to become a certified scrum PO and scrum professional soon.
She recently joined the IT division of the French Unemployment agency and is proud to provide her expertise to a company that is striving to reduce the unemployment in France. Along those lines, she also gets involved in the community, currently writing a summary of Jurgen Appelo's book Management 3.0 to make its content available to French speaking people.
