For the past few years I helped companies stabilise their development processes and the architecture of their products in the Utilities, Financial and Defense industries, with a focus on Service Oriented Architectures and Enterprise Application Integration.

I have a consistent history of delivering projects on time and budget across a range of industry sectors by utilising my wide skillset as necessary. Through my hands-on approach and extensive knowledge of current technologies over the past 20 years, I produce pragmatic, standardised and economical enterprise frameworks and solutions. My early involvement with Java and J2EE was acknowledged when I presented at JavaOne in 1999.

I have been contracting in the Finance, Utility and Defense industries. For the last 10 years my roles have been in the Architecture discipline, including Technical (also known as Tactical or Application), Solutions and Enterprise areas. I have worked across many industries with a strong emphasis on correct process (Agile and Unified) using UML. These architectures have been implemented mainly using J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (using Web Services) and some .NET.
