About

Title: Manager

Sujay Polimati's passion for business analysis, process engineering, and Agile framework to have a reliable and accurate resource pool have been making a difference in the lives of many allopathic and osteopathic medical students, in the United States and Internationally.

Sujay worked for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) for more than 12 years. Prior to joining the AAMC family, he worked as a consultant in the healthcare, pharma, and insurance industries. At the AAMC, he supported the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program's business development portfolio. This program is a closed network of 300+ U.S medical schools and teaching hospitals in the U.S and over 120 international medical schools, and faculties of medicine. The VSLO program also comprises all Osteopathic (D.O) medical schools to support final-year medical students. Institutions in these two networks send and receive medical students for clinical rotations to help their clinical training, explore specialties, and support their residency applications.

His primary focus for the AAMC’s member medical schools and teaching hospitals was ensuring their participation in the VSLO program streamlines visiting student mobility.

Being transparent about program policy, contracts, renewals, IT infrastructure, and having constant communication with the member institutions have resulted in building trust and increased membership continuation and expansion. Collaboratively building software solutions has been the key factor in retaining memberships and growing participation.
