Ben Doughton

Ben Doughton is a Senior Product Manager with 10 years experience in Financial Services and a particular focus on delivering customer facing IT solutions. He is currently responsible for LCH's collateral management strategy and roadmap, including the proprietary on-line banking application (CMS) and the implementation of Calypso. Ben's role includes: assessing new technology and market trends, in support of Open Access solutions; competitor analysis; building business cases for new initiatives; securing stakeholder sponsorship and managing their engagement throughout the project; delivering requirements in the form of user stories to the dev team and participating as Product Owner in Agile (SRUM/XP) ceremonies; and co-ordinating across the operations, marketing, compliance, legal and sales teams to launch the new product/service to customers. Beyond the core aspects of his role Ben regularly leads or participates in initiatives that foster efficiency and smarter ways of working. At LCH, Ben is an Agile (Jira) evangelist, a Certified Scrum Product Owner, a brand ambassador (promoting simplicity and partnership) and has thrown business support behind IT initiates to deliver test driven development (TDD) and continuous integration.
